How to Make Avocado Chicken Salad

  • Prepare the Chicken: Ensure your cooked chicken breast is completely cooled. Chop or shred it into bite-sized pieces.
  • Mash the Avocado: In a mixing bowl, add the ripe avocado, Greek yogurt, and lime juice. Mash them together until smooth.
  • Flavor the Mixture: Stir in minced garlic, salt, and pepper into the avocado blend.
  • Combine with Chicken: Add the chopped chicken to the creamy avocado mixture and fold gently.
  • Add Veggies & Herbs: Toss in the chopped celery, red onion, and your chosen fresh herbs. Stir gently to combine.
  • Taste & Adjust: Before serving, taste and adjust seasoning as needed.

Notes

To prevent browning, add a splash of lime juice if preparing ahead of time.
