Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Scrub the russet potatoes and poke holes in them. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with kosher salt.
  • Place the potatoes on a baking sheet and bake for 55-65 minutes until fork-tender and crispy.
  • While baking, cut the steak into ½-inch pieces, season with salt and pepper, and cook in a skillet with melted butter for 1-2 minutes.
  • Once the potatoes are baked, slice them open, fluff the insides, and layer in the warm steak bites.
  • Top with shredded cheese, sour cream, and green onions. Serve immediately.

Notes
