  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder fresh minced garlic can be used
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder fresh onion or shallots could work
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cumin omit for a milder flavor
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper adjustable to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Salt adjust according to preference
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper adjust according to preference

For the Avocado Salsa

  • 1 ripe Avocado or guacamole if unavailable
  • 1/2 cup Plain Greek Yogurt or Sour Cream
  • 2 tablespoons Lime Juice fresh lemon juice is a substitute
  • 1 clove Garlic or garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon Water for thinning

For Serving

  • 2 cups Cooked Quinoa or rice/greens as substitutes
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Cilantro omit if not preferred

  • Blend the sauce: Blend avocado, Greek yogurt, lime juice, garlic, and a pinch of salt until smooth.
