  • 4 pieces Chicken Breasts Boneless and skinless
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil Extra virgin
  • 4 cloves Garlic Fresh minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes Adjust to taste
  • 1/2 cup White Wine Substitute with chicken broth if preferred
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice Freshly squeezed

For the Rice

  • 1 cup Jasmine Rice Can substitute with basmati or long-grain rice
  • 2 cups Chicken Broth
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese Freshly grated
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder Adjust to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil (for rice)

Finishing Touches

  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted Butter Can substitute with margarine
  • to taste Salt Essential for seasoning
  • to taste Pepper Essential for seasoning
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley For garnish

How to Make Garlic Parmesan Chicken and Rice

  • Rinse jasmine rice under cold water until clear. Boil it in chicken broth, cover, reduce heat, and let simmer for 15-20 minutes until liquid is absorbed.
  • Fluff the cooked rice with a fork, then stir in Parmesan, garlic powder, and olive oil. Keep warm on low heat.
  • Season chicken with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear chicken until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes. Set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté for 1 minute. Pour in white wine and scrape the bottom of the pan, simmer for 1-2 minutes.
  • Add lemon juice and chicken broth to the reduction. Simmer for 3-4 minutes to blend flavors.
  • Return chicken to skillet and stir in unsalted butter until melted and coats chicken. Adjust salt and pepper to taste.
  • Plate the creamy garlic Parmesan rice, top with chicken and sauce, and garnish with parsley.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding your favorite vegetables like asparagus or spinach.
