- 2 cups mixed nuts (walnuts, pistachios, or almonds), coarsely chopped

- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup honey
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 cup water
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a bowl, combine coarsely chopped mixed nuts with sugar and cinnamon; set aside.
- Carefully unroll phyllo dough, placing one sheet in the dish and brushing with melted butter. Repeat for five sheets.
- Sprinkle half of the nut mixture over the layered phyllo. Add another five buttered sheets.
- Layer the remaining nut mixture and cover with five more buttered sheets. Cut diamond shapes into the top layer.
- Bake for 45 minutes until golden brown. For the syrup, combine water, sugar, and honey in a saucepan; heat until dissolved and pour hot syrup over baklava immediately after baking.
