  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 lb Italian sausage (sweet or hot)
  • 4 oz pepperoni slices
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 2 pre-made pie crusts
  • 1 medium onion (chopped)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic; sauté until translucent (about 3 minutes).
  3. Add ground beef and sausage to the skillet. Cook until browned (5-7 minutes), draining excess fat.
  4. Stir in pepperoni and cheddar cheese; mix until melted (about 2 minutes).
  5. Place one pie crust in a pie pan, fill with meat mixture, top with the second crust, and crimp edges.
  6. Cut slits in the top crust for steam vents. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
