Description

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 5 drops green food coloring
  • 1/2 cup candy sprinkles
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Pop the popcorn according to package instructions and transfer it to a large mixing bowl.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Stir in the sugar and cook until light golden (about 4-5 minutes). Add green food coloring until desired color is reached.
  3. Pour the warm caramel over the popcorn while gently tossing to coat evenly.
  4. While the caramel is still warm, sprinkle candy sprinkles over the popcorn and toss again.
  5. Melt chocolate chips in a microwave or on low heat, then drizzle over the popcorn mixture.
  6. Spread onto parchment-lined baking sheets to cool completely before breaking into clusters.
