Instructions

  1. 1. Prepare the Dough: Warm the milk until cozy, then mix with yeast and sugar. Let sit until frothy (about 10 minutes).
  2. 2. Combine Ingredients: In another bowl, mix flour and melted butter. Add the yeast mixture and a pinch of salt; stir until shaggy.
  3. 3. Knead: Turn dough onto floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  4. 4. First Rise: Place in oiled bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled (about 1 hour).
  5. 5. Roll Out: Punch down dough, roll into a rectangle, spread melted butter, and sprinkle with cinnamon, brown sugar, and orange zest.
  6. 6. Shape Rolls: Roll tightly from one edge, slice into 12 pieces, and place in greased baking dish.
