  • 1 cup BBQ sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 cups waffle mix (plus ingredients as per package instructions)
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 2 cups coleslaw (store-bought or homemade)

Instructions

  1. Season the pork shoulder with salt and pepper. Place in a slow cooker, add half of the BBQ sauce, and cook on low for 8 hours until tender.
  2. Prepare waffles according to package instructions while the pork cooks.
  3. Once done, shred the pork using two forks and mix it back into the slow cooker with the remaining BBQ sauce.
  4. Assemble sliders by layering a waffle, pulled pork, coleslaw, and another waffle on top.
  5. Drizzle maple syrup over each slider before serving.
