Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine warm water and yeast; let sit for 5 minutes until foamy. Stir in olive oil.
  2. Gradually add flour and salt to form a shaggy dough; knead on a floured surface for about 8 minutes until smooth.
  3. Place in an oiled bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  4. While dough rises, mix minced garlic, herbs, and cheese in a bowl.
  5. Roll out the risen dough into a rectangle; spread filling evenly over the top. Roll tightly into a log and pinch seams closed.
  6. Place on parchment-lined baking sheet; let rest for another 30 minutes while preheating oven to 375°F (190°C).
