  • 2 teaspoons smoked paprika

  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 cup BBQ sauce (store-bought or homemade)

Instructions

  1. Rinse chicken wings under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
  2. In a large bowl, toss wings with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt until well coated.
  3. Preheat smoker to 250°F (120°C) using hickory or applewood chips.
  4. Arrange seasoned wings on grill grates in a single layer and smoke for about 1.5 hours or until internal temperature reaches at least 165°F (74°C).
  5. In the last few minutes, brush BBQ sauce over each wing and allow to caramelize.
