  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup miso paste
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1 cup macadamia nuts (roughly chopped)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper.

  3. In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and miso paste until creamy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually fold this dry mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chopped macadamia nuts evenly.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
