  • 2 yellow onions, thinly sliced
  • 4 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil (canola or peanut)
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Slice the beef sirloin into thin strips and set aside. Thinly slice the onions and mince the garlic.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together oyster sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, and minced garlic; set aside.
  3. Heat a wok or skillet over medium-high heat and add vegetable oil.
  4. Once the oil is hot, add the sliced beef in a single layer. Sear for about 2 minutes until browned.
  5. Add the onions to the pan and cook for an additional 3 minutes until softened.
  6. Pour the prepared sauce over the stir-fry mixture and cook for another minute until well-coated.
