Description

Old Fashioned Pecan Tassies are delightful mini desserts that combine a buttery, flaky crust with a rich pecan filling. Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour and cold butter until crumbly. Form small balls and press into a greased mini muffin tin.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together brown sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and chopped pecans until combined.
  4. Spoon the filling into each crust, filling generously. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Let cool in the tin for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  6. Serve warm or at room temperature.
