- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup fresh basil leaves
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly coat a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- Halve the spaghetti squash lengthwise, remove the seeds, drizzle olive oil over cut sides, sprinkle with garlic powder, and place cut-side down in the baking dish.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes until fork-tender.
- Once cool enough to handle, scrape out strands into a large bowl and toss with marinara sauce until well combined.
- Layer half of the mixture back into one half of the shell, top with shredded cheese, and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
