- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup whole milk ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- ½ cup panko breadcrumbs
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and spray a 9×13 inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- Cook frozen ravioli according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside. For fresh ravioli, skip this step.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, half the mozzarella, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Layer the baking dish with marinara sauce, followed by half of the cooked ravioli, half of the ricotta mixture, and another layer of marinara. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used.
- Top with remaining mozzarella cheese and sprinkle panko breadcrumbs over the top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes; remove foil and bake an additional 15-20 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
