  • 4 medium-sized sweet potatoes (about 2 lbs)
  • 1 stick (1/2 cup) unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup whole milk or heavy cream
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Peel and chop sweet potatoes into chunks. Boil in salted water for about 15-20 minutes until tender.
  2. Drain and return sweet potatoes to the pot. Add butter, brown sugar, milk, and cinnamon. Mash until smooth and creamy.

  4. Sprinkle chopped pecans evenly over the mashed sweet potatoes, then layer with mini marshmallows.
