Description

Honey Glazed Carrots are a deliciously sweet and buttery side dish that transforms ordinary meals into extraordinary experiences. Tender, vibrant carrots are coated in a rich glaze of pure honey and unsalted butter, striking the perfect balance between sweet and savory. This simple yet elegant dish is ideal for weeknight dinners or festive gatherings, adding a beautiful pop of color to your table while pleasing even the pickiest eaters.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb fresh medium-sized carrots
  • 1/4 cup pure honey
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 tsp freshly cracked black pepper (adjust to taste)

Instructions

  1. Wash and peel the carrots. Slice them into two-inch pieces for even cooking.
  2. In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add a pinch of salt and the carrot pieces; cook for 5-7 minutes until tender but still crisp. Drain and set aside.
  3. In the same pot, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat. Stir in honey until fully combined.
  4. Return the cooked carrots to the pot and toss gently in the honey-butter glaze for about two minutes.
  5. Season with salt and pepper, adjusting as needed. Serve warm, drizzling any remaining glaze on top.
