- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Crumble cornbread into a large mixing bowl.
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add celery and onion; sauté until tender (about 5 minutes).
- Combine sautéed vegetables with crumbled cornbread in the bowl. Stir in sage, poultry seasoning, and enough chicken broth to moisten without making soggy.
- Transfer mixture to a greased baking dish, cover with foil, and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake an additional 15–20 minutes until the top is golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
