  • 1 pound sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 9 ounces creamy parmesan tortellini (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season the steak bites with salt and pepper.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt half of the butter. Sear steak bites until browned on all sides (about 3 minutes). Remove from skillet.
  3. Lower heat to medium-low. Add remaining butter and minced garlic to the skillet; sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  4. Cook tortellini according to package instructions; drain.
  5. In the same skillet, add heavy cream and parmesan cheese; stir until melted. Toss in cooked tortellini and seared steak bites; combine gently.
  6. Serve topped with parsley.
