  • 1 cup warm water (110°F)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 4 tbsp melted butter

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, instant yeast, sugar, and salt. Add warm water and mix until a shaggy dough forms.
  2. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  3. Place the dough in an oiled bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm spot for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  4. Punch down the risen dough and roll it out into a rectangle. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle generously with cinnamon sugar.
  5. Roll tightly from one end to form a log. Cut into sections about three inches each and twist each piece before placing them in a greased baking dish.
  6. Cover again and let them rise for another half hour while preheating your oven to 375°F. Bake for about 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
