Description

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 4 oz cream cheese (for frosting)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for frosting)
  • 2 tablespoons milk (for frosting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, granulated sugar, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth. Combine with dry ingredients and stir until just mixed.
  4. Pour half of the batter into the prepared dish. In a separate bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle half over the batter. Add remaining batter on top and swirl gently with a knife.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool slightly before preparing the glaze by mixing softened cream cheese with powdered sugar and milk until smooth. Drizzle over cake before serving.
