  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1/2 cup custard powder
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 cups mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • 1 cup whipped cream (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/4 cup sherry or fruit juice

Instructions

  1. Whisk custard powder and sugar together in a saucepan. Gradually stir in milk until smooth. Cook over medium heat until thickened.
  2. Transfer custard to a bowl, cover with plastic wrap directly on top to prevent skin from forming. Allow to cool completely.
  3. Layer ladyfinger biscuits in a serving dish and drizzle with sherry or fruit juice.
  4. Spoon half of the cooled custard over the ladyfingers, then scatter half of the mixed berries on top.
  5. Repeat layering with remaining ladyfingers, custard, and berries.
  6. Top with whipped cream and garnish with extra berries if desired.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to enhance flavor.
