Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, and baking soda.
  3. In another bowl, mix eggs, milk, vegetable oil, vanilla extract, and orange zest until well combined.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and gently fold until just mixed. Stir in chocolate chips.
  5. Fill the cupcake liners about two-thirds full with batter.
  6. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool in the tin for five minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
