  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 slices thinly sliced ham
  • 8 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter (for sauce)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking dish with nonstick spray.
  2. Place chicken breasts between plastic wrap and pound to about half an inch thick.
  3. Layer each chicken breast with ham and Swiss cheese, then roll tightly.
  4. Dredge each roll in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.
  5. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the rolls in oil or butter until golden.
  6. Transfer rolls to the baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F/74°C).
  7. For the sauce, melt butter in a saucepan, whisk in heavy cream, garlic powder, and Parmesan until thickened.
