  • 1 store-bought flatbread
  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
  • 2 ripe Roma tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 3 tbsp balsamic glaze
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Place the flatbread on the prepared baking sheet and brush generously with olive oil.
  3. Layer the sliced mozzarella and tomatoes evenly on top of the flatbread. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the cheese is melted and edges are golden brown.
  5. Remove from the oven and immediately top with fresh basil leaves.
  6. Drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving warm.
