- 1 tablespoon butter (softened)
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 3 ounces deli ham or turkey
- 1/4 cup fresh spinach or roasted bell peppers
Instructions
- Preheat the oven’s broiler on high.
- Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- On the unbuttered side of one slice, layer deli meats, mozzarella and cheddar cheeses, and vegetables.
- Top with the second slice of bread, buttered side facing out.
- Place the sandwich on a parchment-lined baking sheet and broil for 2-4 minutes until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, then slice in half and serve warm.
