Description

  • 2 cups fresh blueberries
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar, divided
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract, divided
  • 1 box (15.25 oz) yellow cake mix
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick spray.
  2. In a large bowl, combine fresh blueberries with ½ cup of sugar and ½ tsp of vanilla extract. Let sit for 10 minutes.
  3. In another bowl, beat softened cream cheese with the remaining sugar and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Spread half of the blueberries in the prepared baking dish. Dollop cream cheese mixture over the blueberries.
  5. Sprinkle cake mix evenly over the layers and drizzle melted butter on top.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly around the edges. Allow to cool slightly before serving warm or chilled.
