  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Wash and halve the pears, scooping out the cores.
  3. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle inside each pear half.
  4. Place pear halves cut side up in a baking dish and dot with butter.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until fork-tender.
  6. Serve warm, optionally drizzled with honey or paired with ice cream.
