  • 12 manicotti pasta tubes
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • ¼ cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 large egg
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook the manicotti until al dente according to package instructions. Drain and cool slightly.
  2. In a bowl, mix ricotta, half of the mozzarella, Parmesan, basil, garlic, egg, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Stuff each manicotti tube with the cheese mixture using a piping bag or spoon.
  4. Spread some marinara sauce in a baking dish. Arrange stuffed manicotti on top and cover with remaining sauce and mozzarella.
  5. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake another 10–15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  6. Let cool slightly before serving, garnished with fresh basil.
