Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted, slightly cooled)
  • 2 cups diced apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt until combined.
  3. In another bowl, beat the eggs and milk together. Stir in the melted butter until incorporated.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and stir gently until just combined; lumps are okay.
  5. Fold in the diced apples evenly into the batter.
  6. Transfer the batter to the prepared loaf pan and bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Let cool in the pan for about ten minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
