  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup crushed chocolate sandwich cookies (like Oreos)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat, stirring continuously until fully melted.
  3. Remove from heat and mix in granulated and brown sugars until combined. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, and a pinch of salt. Gradually add to the butter mixture until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in chocolate chips and crushed cookies.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
