Ingredients

  • 8 oz fresh salmon fillets
  • 8 oz full-fat cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook salmon fillets for 4-5 minutes on each side until they flake easily. Let cool slightly.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cooked salmon (removing any bones), cream cheese, lemon juice, and dill. Blend with a hand mixer until smooth.
  3. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Transfer mousse into serving dishes and refrigerate for at least an hour.
  5. Garnish with extra dill or lemon slices and serve with crackers or toasted bread.
