- 9 no-boil lasagna noodles
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 15 oz ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a large baking sheet (18×13 inches) with parchment paper.
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef for 5-7 minutes; drain excess fat.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Spread half of the marinara sauce on the baking sheet; layer half of the noodles on top. Add half of the ricotta mixture, followed by half of the ground beef and half of the mozzarella. Repeat layers once more.
- Top with remaining marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan cheese. Garnish with fresh basil if desired.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 15-20 minutes until bubbly and golden.
