  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. 2. Remove any wilted leaves from the cabbage and slice it into 1-inch thick steaks.
  3. 3. In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Stir in minced garlic for about one minute until fragrant. Remove from heat and mix in olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  4. 4. Brush both sides of each cabbage steak generously with the garlic butter mixture and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. 5. Roast for 25-30 minutes until golden brown, flipping halfway through for even cooking.
