Description

Creamy Spinach Turkey Meatballs are a deliciously healthy dish that combines lean ground turkey with fresh spinach in a rich, velvety sauce. These tender meatballs are perfect for cozy family dinners or impressing guests at gatherings. Serve them over pasta or enjoy on their own for a meal that balances flavor and nutrition without compromising on taste.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 cup Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, chopped spinach, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined to avoid overmixing.
  3. Shape the mixture into golf-sized meatballs and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  5. While the meatballs bake, heat heavy cream in a saucepan over medium heat with chicken broth and lemon juice; stir until warmed (do not boil).
  6. Once baked, add meatballs to the creamy sauce and gently stir to coat. Serve warm.
