  • 1/2 cup almond or cashew nut butter
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup plant-based protein powder
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup dairy-free chocolate chips (for topping)

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, blend pitted Medjool dates, nut butter, cocoa powder, plant-based protein powder, maple syrup, and sea salt until a sticky mixture forms.
  2. Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of the pan using your hands or a spatula.
