Easy to prepare, they promise to elevate any morning with their comforting flavors and irresistible aroma.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 packet (2¼ tsp) active dry yeast
  • 1 cup whole milk (warmed)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup crushed Oreos
  • 4 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Warm the milk until lukewarm. Combine it with sugar and yeast in a large bowl; let froth for about five minutes.
  2. In another bowl, whisk flour, melted butter, eggs, cinnamon, and salt. Gradually mix into the yeast mixture until a soft dough forms.
  3. Knead on a floured surface for five minutes until smooth. Let rise in a greased bowl covered for about an hour or until doubled.
  4. Roll out the dough into a rectangle, spread melted butter on top, then sprinkle with cinnamon sugar and crushed Oreos. Roll tightly and slice into one-inch pieces.
  5. Place rolls in a greased baking dish and let rise for another thirty minutes while preheating the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake for twenty-five minutes until golden brown.
  6. For the frosting, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Frost cooled rolls before serving.
