- 14 oz firm tofu, pressed and cubed
- 1 cup broccoli stems, chopped
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Press the tofu between paper towels for about 15 minutes, then cut it into bite-sized cubes.
- Toss tofu cubes with cornstarch until evenly coated. Spread on the baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and red pepper flakes.
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, sauté chopped broccoli stems in oil for about 5 minutes. Add some of the sauce towards the end.
- Combine baked tofu with the remaining sauce and sautéed broccoli stems in a large bowl. Serve hot.
