  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 1/2 lb pork sausage
  • 1/2 cup fresh breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). In a large bowl, combine ground beef, pork sausage, breadcrumbs, onions, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  2. Roll the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  3. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until browned and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F or 74°C).
  4. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine beef broth, heavy cream, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper. Stir until simmering.
  5. Toss cooked meatballs in the sauce before serving.
