Description

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 12 egg roll wrappers
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 2 tbsp mustard
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef. Drain excess fat and add chopped onion; sauté until translucent.
  2. Stir in ketchup and mustard, then mix in the shredded cheddar until melted.
  3. Place about 2 tablespoons of filling on each egg roll wrapper. Wet the edges, fold up from the bottom, then fold in sides tightly to seal.
  4. Heat oil in a deep pan over medium-high heat and fry egg rolls until golden brown (about 2-3 minutes per side). Alternatively, bake at 400°F for 15-20 minutes until crisp.
