  • 1/4 cup coconut oil (or unsalted butter)
  • 2 tsp chai spice blend (cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, nutmeg)
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, slivered almonds, brown sugar, chai spice blend, and salt. Mix well.
  3. Melt coconut oil in a small saucepan over low heat; remove from heat and stir in honey. Pour this into the dry ingredients and mix until fully combined.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish, pressing down firmly.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and fragrant.
  6. Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.
